We are seeking energetic and compassionate Lead Teachers: Infant, Toddler and Preschool Teachers who seek to create safe, healthy and nurturing learning environments. Additionally, we are looking for a Center Director and assistants in the infant and preschool rooms. This facility is newly remodeled and hopes to open it’s doors for clients in February 2023. Center Director/Lead Teacher Summary: Directs, administers, and coordinates daily operation of the Pateros Treehouse Early Education Center. Is lead teacher as needed, scheduled, on a daily basis to fill in for leads or supplement hours as needed. Each age classroom will have a primary lead teacher. A lead teacher is responsible for the academic, social-emotional growth and development of children in their care who are either infants, toddler and preschool aged children. The primary function of lead teachers is to work with parents, administrators and other teachers to improve students' experience and meet teaching objectives. Additionally, lead teachers plan, evaluate and improve the physical environment of the classroom to create opportunities that meet the changing needs of the developing child. Lead teacher positions - Infant Room, Toddler Room 1, Toddler Room 2, Preschool Room, School Aged Room. Most Center Directors hold a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or a related field. A valid CPR certification is required along with 2 years' of experience in a teaching capacity and lesson planning environment.

Education and/or Experience Combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the scope of duties and responsibilities of this position.
Qualifications for Director/Lead Teacher:
1. Ability to be extremely flexible.
2. Experience in personnel management, experience with contracts and grievance and arbitration processes.
3. Budgeting experience.
4. Knowledge of Microsoft Office software and computerized software systems.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects and remain calm under pressure.
6. Knowledge of disaster long term recovery and understanding of the NVOAD LTR Guide.
7. Direct experience in disaster recovery.
